Over the last two months, we focused heavily on providing essential resources to trafficking survivors who had gaps in their continuum of care. Since May 1st, we provided 67 shelter and housing services to trafficking survivors. These safe and supportive environments are paramount for their healing and recovery. 16 Crisis and Trauma Services
We have provided 16 services of safety planning and crisis and trauma counseling to trafficking survivors since the beginning of May. These vital services help survivors navigate their recovery journey, offering them the support and strategies they need to feel safe and heal from their experiences. Update on Alena
We are so proud of Alena, a Rescue 1 Global missionary in Thailand. She is making a significant impact by working in an urgent drop-in center for trafficked women. She is not only offering immediate support and care but also providing English classes to both co-laborers in the field and survivors. These classes empower survivors with valuable language skills, helping them rebuild their lives and futures. Your support enables her vital work and brings hope to those in need. Philippines Outreach
Rescue 1: Philippines & Judah Team volunteers conducted two outreach missions to Mt. Nebo and Lirongan in Bukidnon. The team shared the Gospel, as well as providing pivotal education about combating human trafficking. While there, the team advocated for locals through the Least of These risk assessments. 241 hearts received the Good News, 150 Bibles in local dialects made their way into eager hands, and 72 food packs relieved hungry bellies.
