Missionary

A Rescue 1 Global Missionary is a minister of the Gospel who chooses to build the Kingdom, serve the vulnerable, vagabond, and victimized through the mission and vision of Rescue 1 Global, believes in Rescue 1 Global’s Prevention, Rescue and Restoration initiatives, and agrees to place himself under the governance of the Rescue 1 Global Administration for guidance and protection.

  1. Ministry – Every missionary is a faith-based, “independent contractor” for tax purposes. They are encouraged and expected to accept the responsibility to raise 100% of their “support” in order to accomplish both Great Commandment and Great Commission initiatives of Rescue 1 Global as well as raise funds for specific field needs, including but not limited to, projects, programs, outreaches, and Business as Missions.
  2. Personal – Each missionary is expected to live a lifestyle of simplicity and moderation and to exercise good judgment in financial stewardship.

R1G: USA

A Rescue 1 Global: USA Missionary is a missionary who is a U.S. national citizen. They must be an active member in a sending and/or supporting church and must remain throughout his/her/their missionary career.

R1G: INT’L

A Rescue 1 Global: International (INT’L) Missionary is a missionary who is a U.S. national citizen, serving in one of our international locations. They must maintain membership in a US sending and/or a supporting church. An international missionary may hold an associate membership in a national church if approved by his/her/their sending church and field team.

Currently looking for: International Missionaries and/or Families to go live and work in either Philippines or Thailand – This is a Full-Time position

Requires a recommendation from your local church to start this process. Having degrees in Social work, Counseling, Psychology or similar related fields is a huge help.

Positions Needed for Rescue 1 Global: Executive Team

Vice President: Restoration

This is a full-time position in the Rescue 1 Global Executive Team.

As the Vice President of Restoration, your roles will include oversight and guidance in: all aftercare and restoration programs both in the US as well as internationally. As well as, oversight of the I-care teams, residential homes, and staff under the Grace Oasis umbrella. You will help lead this organization along with other VP’s, the CEO and board. You will join a community that truly cares about one another and is working hard to reveal the life-transforming power of Jesus to those we serve and their families.
Minimum education and experience: Associate Degree or two years of college study along with two years of supervisory experience. Must be able to teach, train and do public speaking. Prefer experience with at-risk or troubled teens and group home program experience. Experience in ministry leadership, relationship building, trauma-informed care, counseling, and discipleship is a plus.

Vice President: Business Administration

This is a full-time position in the Rescue 1 Global Executive Team.

As the Vice President of Business Administration, your roles will include oversight and guidance in: all major Business Administrative processes and procedural aspects of the non-profit both in the US while assisting internationally. As well as: Help maintain donor management system and relations across all departments; Plan and coordinate special events such as donor & volunteer appreciation dinners, Gala, Golf tourney, 5k run/inflatable/mud run/ect…; Directly oversee both the marketing and development dept. Creating effective strategies for our public communication, branding, social media, website, fundraising, grant writing, public speaking, ect…; Provide business, public relations & marketing advice to other departments; Help create annual budgets for your department and give oversights into budgets for other departments; be a major contributor (in word and deed) to the fundraising team. You will help lead this organization along with other VP’s, the CEO and board. You will join a community that truly cares about one another and is working hard to reveal the life-transforming power of Jesus to those we serve and their families.

A minimum of an Associates Degree (or equivalent) with at least 2 years of supervisory experience. Prefer prior experience working with Administrative tasks, Marketing/development, and business operations pairing the business world with a sold-out mission mindedness. Prefer past experience and understanding in working with victims of complex trauma, at-risk or troubled teens and hard reached people groups.  

Vice President: Prevention

This is a full-time position in the Rescue 1 Global Executive Team.

As the Vice President of Prevention, your roles will include oversight and guidance in: developing, and giving oversight and leadership to Prevention programs including awareness & education programs. Develop R1G Mentor & Discipleship Program, along with the Executive Leadership Teams input and give oversight to mentor selection, communication, and ongoing training of our churches and task force groups as well as those volunteers inside your department. Help maintain donor relations that are specific to Prevention especially to Taskforce and outreach groups. Help R1G spearhead a program geared toward addressing the Demand side of human trafficking known as pornography & sexual addictions Provide support and direction to our team as well as task force groups as how to connect with local “wrap around” services needed, ie. (food banks, shelters, addiction centers, church-based recovery, support programs ect…) Create a specialized ongoing mentoring and discipleship of both gospel and human trafficking based education to those task force groups we serve. Help Develop and Implement Strategic Volunteer Engagement across the Prevention Department that funnels into other depts. You will help lead this organization along with other VP’s, the CEO and board. You will join a community that truly cares about one another and is working hard to reveal the life-transforming power of Jesus to those we serve and their families.

Positions Needed for Rescue 1 Global: Business Team

Volunteers, Part-time & Full-time staff needed to fill daily operational needs inside:

Marketing Department in the areas of: Writing, Event coordination, Website layout/design (WordPress), graphic design, videography and other fields of communication and PR.

Development Department in the areas of: Grant writing and Research, Fundraiser coordination, Sponsorship programming and donor management.

FULL TIME – Development Director: 

This is a full-time position in the Rescue 1 Global Business Team.

As the Development Director, your roles will include oversight and guidance in:

  • Responsible for developing and implementing the annual fundraising plan for Rescue 1 Global with the Executive Leadership team.
  • Responsible for achieving revenue goals by engaging churches, individuals, corporations and foundations in ongoing communication, engagement, solicitation and stewardship with the Executive Leadership team.
  • Provide oversight to all aspects of fund development and marketing, ensuring that plans are being implemented, monitored, evaluated, and revised as needed for continuous quality improvement and achievement of stated goals with the Executive Leadership team.
  • You will join a community that truly cares about one another and is working hard to reveal the life-transforming power of Jesus to those we serve and their families.
  • Minimum education and experience: Associate Degree or two years of college study along with two years of development experience.
  • Must be able to do public speaking & communicate in writing as well.
  • Prefer experience with non-profit development and fundraising. Experience in ministry leadership, relationship building is a plus.

 

Positions Needed for Restoration: (Grace Oasis) Aftercare and Recovery Program

Care Coordinators (Case Manager) – This is a volunteer or part-time position (could become a full time)

Requires a BS or MS degree in Social Work or related field. Organization skills are a plus for this position. (Multiple positions open)

Counselor/Therapist – This is a volunteer or part-time position (could become a full-time)

Requires a BS or MS degree in Psychology, Counseling or related field

  1. Experience in working with trauma and high-tension clients is a plus.
  1. Art Therapist- same requirements as above, plus experience in using art in a therapeutic way to connect with clients and assist them in the healing process.
  2. Group Therapist- same requirements as above, plus experience in leading groups. This requires the ability to keep the group on track and focused. One must be able to take charge and redirect group as needed.
  3. Equine Therapist- same requirements as above, plus experience in using horses to assist in the therapeutic process.

 

Grace Oasis caregivers live in our on-site residential homes with the children entrusted to their care. Caregivers care for these wounded and broken children by sharing the healing power of Jesus and providing physical, emotional, intellectual, social, and spiritual care. The ages of children in our US facilities will range from 12-17 years old. All caregivers receive rigorous training according to licensure standards — learning how to care for the most visible need in a traumatized child’s life, while also giving attention to all the areas affected by that most pressing need, whether physical, emotional, educational, or spiritual.

House Caregiver R1G USA: Grace Oasis

This is a full time, live-in position in the Grace Oasis: Aftercare and Recovery Home. As the primary Caregiver in the home, you will be making a meaningful and personal contribution to needy children as a missionary who provides care that reflects God’s grace, mercy, and compassion.  You will join a community that truly cares about one another and is working hard to reveal the life-transforming power of Jesus to those we serve and their families. This can be a married couple or an older single woman. Minimum education and experience: Associate Degree or two years of college study along with two years of supervisory experience. Prefer experience with at-risk or troubled teenage girls and previous residential program experience.

 

Assistant House Caregiver R1G USA: Grace Oasis

This is a full time, live-in position in the Grace Oasis: Aftercare and Recovery Home. This missionary position will assist the Primary House Caregiver. This position may be filled by a younger, single woman. Minimum education and experience: Associate Degree or two years of college study along with two years of supervisory experience. Prefer experience with at-risk or troubled teenage girls and previous residential program experience.

 

AM Shift Supervisor R1G USA: Grace Oasis

Monday – Friday  |  7am – 3pm in the Grace Oasis: Aftercare and Recovery Home

The shift supervisor will help manage the operations of the house. Minimum education and experience: Associate Degree or two years of college study along with two years of supervisory experience. Prefer experience with at-risk or troubled teenage girls and previous residential program experience.

 

PM Shift Supervisor R1G USA: Grace Oasis

Monday – Friday  |  2:30pm – 11pm in the Grace Oasis: Aftercare and Recovery Home

The shift supervisor will help manage the operations of the house. Minimum education and experience: Associate Degree or two years of college study along with two years of supervisory experience. Prefer experience with at-risk or troubled teenage girls and previous residential program experience.

 

Education Coordinator R1G USA: Grace Oasis

Monday – Friday  |  8:00am – 3:00pm

The education coordinator will teach, counsel, and aid the girls as they continue their education while in our recovery and aftercare programs.

Minimum education and experience: Bachelor’s Degree with at least two years experience teaching. Prefer experience with at-risk or troubled teenage girls and previous residential program experience.

Mentors 

Someone that is passionate about walking with our clients and connecting with them in a healthy way. This person will be assigned one client and will meet with them 1-2 times a week. At first, at the house and then take the client to activities that they enjoy. This person is similar to a Big Sister and is there to show them proper cues to social interactions. (Multiple positions open)

Drivers

Someone that is available during the week to drive clients to various appointments and activities. This person could be available 1 day a week or multiple days. An excellent driving record and car insurance are needed for this position. (Multiple positions open)

Translators

Often times clients come to our program that do not speak English. Translators will be used to assist in communication with staff, law enforcement, and other government officials. Confidentiality is key as you will be hearing and translating important and traumatic parts of a client’s life.  This is an essential needed position in multiple languages.(Mandarine Chinese, Spanish, Vietnamese, & Others)
